Anyway… Last week met up with ? Maureen and Brandon who have been travelling Europe and Africa for the past few months.
As it was the St Patricks weekend they got me to drink an “irish car bomb”
I was feeling a bit tipsy but hanging in there :p
It was so nice to see Maureen again not sure when that will happen again.

Lack of updates indeed… been quite busy with work and by the time i get home i’m so tired 🙁
Surprised people even still check my blog…. after blogging since 2003 i think it’s time to call it day.
Went to watch Vantage point on Thursday. The concept is very revolutionary and intresting… but i felt quite cheated for some reason… maybe cos there wasn’t much for a storyline and little character development.
Anyway i’ll leave with a cool m-flo tune!!!
Suppose you all know that there was an earthquake in the UK on Wed AM… It measured 5.3 which is quite shocking for us as we don’t live anywhere near a fault line. So naturally it made the front pages etc.
What I don’t understand is that members of the public called 118 118 (Directory Enquires) to find out what the shaking was.
Why on earth would you call them to find out what happened? 118 118 recokonds it had a very busy night/day receiving 18,000 calls (obviously not all to do with the earthquake).
Sunday went to watch Be Kind Rewind….. the parodies were good… but the movie overall was a bit crap…
Sorry for the lack of updates just been really busy and stuff…
So let me start… 3 weeks ago went with a friend to Yakitoria in Paddington Central. Was very disappointed in the service. My Main course came but my friends main course never came, 30 min later i was really pissed and i complained.
I had never been so mad in public for ages. To be fair they discounted our bill for what we had but that ruined the night.
Went to watch National Treasure was very disappointed. I should have known an action movie made by Disney would be so tamed.
Week after didn’t really do much besides have dinner with a friend in Kingston. Went to have Zizzi that was nice besides the table next to us setting his napkin alight with the candle. Now that was funny.
Saturday Last week went to Intermission for the Get Flirty 3 party. It was ok… music was a bit iffy but always good when you’re with friends.
Valentines Week:
Tuesday went to Arang with Gemma and Anna for a nice Korean meal (cheers to Anna for treating I’m so broke 🙁 )
Not seen them for a while so it was good to see them, Thach was meant to be there as well but was tied up with work.
Went to see the preview of Jumper. The internet has mixed reviews about this movie, but i actually liked it. It’s very different from the book but a very entertaining movie.
Saturday met up with Jessi for dinner…. went to Jin in Soho for some good Korean food…. cos it was the post weekend from valentines, london’s restaurants were busy so it was very hard to get a booking but this place was empty not sure why… the food wasnt bad as well.
I normally dont write about work cos i’m worried they will read it but today i met a really cute girl in IT the other day… IT girls are very rare so I was very chatty and what shocked me she knew her stuff….
I don’t know what was turning me on her speaking computish or her… she was talking about installing certificates etc… that even went over my head :p

Went to watch PS I love you with Jessi.
Its a nice love story in principle but i thought it was a really slow movie and lost intrest in it very qucikly.
I heard the book is meant to be good and reached no.1 in a few countries but i wasnt impressed with the movie.
Sat – Went to have dinner with Thach, Thanh, Monica, Emily and Jessi down Kingston. We ended up eating in Frangos which has the same concept as Nando’s… I think Frangos is better… The Chips are more tasty.

Been sorting my private life.
Fri went out with the INPS lot for a drink out… was quite good catching up… shame i didn’t take pictures. Went to a place down Lavender Hill.
At night Myself and Thanh headed down to Kingston to have dinner with Jessica. Went to Prezzo in the Rotunda 2nd time i went there. Started were really nice main course was shit. actually prob the pizzas are nicers note. avoid the pasta.
Planning has now started to go a visit Maureen (thats how i know Emily if you were wondering) who will be in Barcelona in March. Emily and myself are heading down there… if anyone else wants to join, come on board it’ll prob be the weekend… expect loads of drinking.
The other week I went to watch Enchanted. ok it was not my type of movie being a chick flick and all that but I actually really enjoyed it. It was a magical love story and so typical of disney in style.
Guys you gotta take a girl to watch this movie, don’t take a guy friend with you to watch this otherwise it will look so wrong.
I went with a group of girls that’s my excuse :p
Have you noticed the Pizza Hut advert which is shown in the cinema? the 1min long one…
Everytime I watch it i always forget what the hell this advert is about.

woooooohooooooooooo its the new year… A new start perhaps?
Well old habits die hard… i’ve spent alot in the sales so have no money for the rest of the month.
2008 is gonna be an exciting one as i think i’m gonna be traveling alot this year.
Sat I went to have dinner with Jessi, Caroline and Mai. Ended up in putney at Hare and Tortoise
Starters were quite nice but my main let it down… I had a Chicken katsu curry which was quite spicy. A bad choice from myself i guess but normally chicken katsu in other places is never that spicy.
Afterwards dinner went cinema to watch a movie.

I’ve been lucky enough to try the latest mobile craze USB Internet modems.
These are the ones you see advertised by the carphonewarehouse where the internet is provided by a mobile network i.e T-mobile.
Anyway I managed to try out T-mobile, Three and Orange.
Now if you are thinking to get one of these don’t be fool by the adverts promising speeds of 1mb etc. You might find you will only get speeds of 56kb as you maybe in a weak 3g area (and will only pick up gprs). You’ll be very surprised there are places in london where 3G coverage is crap.
Anyway after trying them all out, I was quite impressed with Three’s reception. The 3g signal was often available and the price is the cheapest out of the lot.
T-mobile, i found the signal to be patchy, orange was even worst. In london the orange signal was ok… getting a 3g signal even in a hotel in Heathrow was crap and if you’re in bristol just give up… its gprs all the way.

Sorry for the lack of updates i’ve had problems with adjusting to my new work hours. Also having to SELF learn all the new systems is kinda doing my head in.
So howz work some of you have asked me. Well The job is very different from my last 2 jobs so its a total career change. My 2 main factors for leaving my last jobs after only a short stay was working conditions (hated the politics, travelling, meetings) and ultimately more money.
Before I was mananging a system which covered most of central west london now i look after the ICT systems at one organisation which is so much better.
Anyway its to soon to say if i will like the job but I intend to stay here for a while.

Last week I went to my old companies Xmas party! It was alright, the venue (st Katherines Dock) wasn’t as good as the past few but I still managed to have fun. I was quite sober that night but Emily got wasted!

Friday before Xmas we decided to have a final xmas meet as alot of peeps were going away for xmas. It was good meeting up with peeps esp Minh which i’ve not seen for a while.
Christmas Eve my family had a Christmas Dinner,
