Today was Loy Krathong Loy Krathong

Loy Krathong (or Loi Kratong, Thai: ????????) is a festival celebrated in Thailand. It is held on the third lunar moon in November.

“Loi” means “to float”. “Krathong” is a lotus-shaped boat usually decorated with banana leaves, flowers, candles, coins, incense sticks etc.

The festival originated in Thailand to ask for the Mother of Water’s forgiveness for polluting the water.

To celebrate it I went with my family to Wimbledon Temple… It’s so nice to see how muticultured the event has become. People of all nationalities were there floating there boats and sampling the food….

So many stalls selling yummy food…. i remember when i was small my parents had a stall here… i remember helping them out…. shame we don’t have one now… i keep bugging my mum to do a stall again but she keeps making excuses…

Met Jane’s Friends… they were actually normal compared to her…. All i did was just eat, walked around… it was ok…
